Yoga

As a Colorado native, Ashley was introduced to her first teacher Annie Pace at the age of 20 in Crestone, CO and found herself deeply resonating with the Ashtanga tradition. She continued to deepen into the practice and study with a number of lineage holders in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado; eventually landing in Boulder and completing Richard Freeman’s Teacher Intensive in 2009. She has also spent time studying in India at the Ashtanga Research Institute in Mysore and with Rolf Naujokat in Goa. She recently completely a 100Hr training intensive with Maty Ezraty in 2015.

She is a Licensed Massage Therapist with an equal focus on both Thai and Western modalities and also holds a 560Hr Certification in Advanced Vibrational Medicine; giving her a well versed platform in gross and subtle anatomy.

Ashley comes to the practice with a strong sense of gratitude, discipline, and inner inquisition. She is continually inspired by the rippling effects that a complete and focused asana practice has on and off the mat. Her vinyasa style classes direct attention to honoring one’s own breath as the teacher and following its intelligence to the subtleties of alignment. Yoga has been her thread to unravel herself, observe her patterning, and weave herself back together with a discerning stitch. She feels the reflective nature of a consistent practice a key to cultivating self-awareness and finds the ability of the breath to reshape our perceptive reality an invaluable tool for personal evolution.
